Comic Strip - Stay Home (Part 3)

We all love superheroes. Chances are, all of us have at least one superhero that we love and idolize to be. It could be the Invincible Iron Man, the patriotic Captain America, the Mighty God of Thunder Thor, the Incredible Hulk, the Amazing Spider-Man, the Dark Knight Batman, the Uncanny X-Men, the big boy scout Superman, the scarlet speedster Flash, the list goes on and on.

Why we choose to idolize these heroes is subject to each individual fan. There are some of us avid comic fans who could connect with these superheroes, because at some point, we find a lot similarities between us and the superheroes we love.

Take Spider-Man for example, a superhero who struggles with his daily lives, trying to juggle between his work, his love life, his studies, and his life as a superhero.

How about the Hulk? A character, with a classic case of anger management issues.

We look at these superheroes though the pages of the serialized comic strips, or on the big screen. We get to see heroes having fantastic powers, who wear capes and costumes. We have songs written about them.

Well that's great...

However, they do not exist in real life. We do, however, have greater individuals, who would sacrifice their own safety and wellbeing, just to ensure that people like you and I, are able to live safely, healthily, and peacefully; and they don't wear capes, and they don't have superpowers.

The soldiers and policemen, who keeps us safe; the doctors and nurses, who would look in eyes of deadly pandemics, to save lives; the firemen; and the everyday good samaritan. Rarely do we have songs paying tribute to them, but it is thanks to their sacrifices, that we are able to live the peaceful life that we have now.

Salute, to all the unsung heroes...

Events - Superhero Exhibition @ Sunway Velocity Two Sales Gallery

Hello there folks,

Welcome back to New Planet Cybertron. We would like to apologize that we have been rather quiet for quite awhile. It's just that we have been pretty tied up with other commitments, although from time to time, we have been involved with several exhibitions and other events every now and then.

Recently, last weekend to be exact, on the 9th and 10th March 2019, we had a small superhero exhibition, displaying a huge chunk of our very own collection.

The display consists of various superheroes and team-ups from different comic productions.

Some of the main attractions of the exhibition were the two display sets or dioramas, all made from recycled trash.

The display sets is one of our ways to encourage people to save mother nature, by reusing trash for art. With a little bit of creativity, even trash can be turned to gold.

As a bonus, there were also several cosplayers entertaining the crowd. There were Loki, Spider-Man, and of course Captain Marvel.

And the kids definitely enjoyed it so much.

It was a fun event, and we are definitely looking forward to more such event in the future.

Coming Soon - ACT 2016

Hello there my fellow Cybertronians,

Heads up! June 26, 2016, make sure that you clear your schedule on those days. Come on down to ACT 2016!

The event will no longer be held at Cheras Sentral Mall. Instead it will be held at Evolve Concept Mall at Pacific Place Ara Damansara,

ACT - Aware and Care Together - is the newest ACG event in town. ACT is trying to raise funds for various charities, not only in terms of monetary, but other miscellaneous items as well, such as foods, clothes, toys, pet's stuff and many more. Why not do some charity, while we're having fun, right?

As with any other ACG events out there, there are loads of fun and activities that awaits you. There will be Cosplay and Singing Competitions, Gaming Contest, The Saber Making Workshop, Auctions, and of course, hobby exhibition and sales.

As such, we at NEW PLANET CYBERTRON BLOG are honored to announce our participation in this marvelous event.

Other confirmed participants in this event (at the time of this writing) includes Digi-Destined Malaysia, Mecha Skirmish Game, Gundam Fans Malaysia, Brickgasm, Force Arts Stunt Team, Rebel and Legion Malaysian Outpost.

So ladies and gentlemen, and children or all ages, mark the dates in your calendar, come and join us at ACT 2016. Let us all have fun and do some good in this world. Entrance to the event is free, but you are welcome to contribute willingly to the donation funds.
